Would be fun to do maybe a couple of regiments with the helmets... but I'm really focusing on the post 1809 period, Leipzig and so on.Chasseurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04919997382932080898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4809892888059311958.post-32721366934155437072014-10-30T12:31:17.153+13:002014-10-30T12:31:17.153+13:00Yes it's a fair chunk, but once the core units...Yes it's a fair chunk, but once the core units are done I'll be able to procede in a more leisurely fashion. Looking at all ...I really enjoy painting Austrians. Looking at all this assembly work keeps me a confirmed metals guy, however! :-)

You should do some units in the Helmets, IMHO - much more "Austrian" than the later shako. 1809 is ideal as you can legitimately have both, plus the much more interesting Landwehr and Isurrectio uniforms vs the later era. It also reminds me, rather guiltily, I still have 252 foot, 72 horse and 4 guns and 16 gun crew to paint for my Imperial Army of the War of the Spanish Succession. Oh, and 4 generals. At least all but one foot regiment (36 figures) have been assembled and based!

I'll be looking forward to seeing future postings on this topic.
Cheers,
IonArchduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4809892888059311958.post-31520481129436830492014-10-30T04:42:13.411+13:002014-10-30T04:42:13.411+13:00Mark may be madman, ;o) but I think he is a genius...Mark may be madman, ;o) but I think he is a genius to paint 150 figures per (week/7 days?) painting secession...Phil Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02369365598439913360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4809892888059311958.post-17210878038036703002014-10-30T04:35:23.027+13:002014-10-30T04:35:23.027+13:00Awesome project to work on Mark! cannot wait to se...Awesome project to work on Mark! cannot wait to see the completion of your work of the Perry Austrians!Phil Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02369365598439913360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4809892888059311958.post-4960750961971587922014-10-30T03:08:09.993+13:002014-10-30T03:08:09.993+13:00Painting in groups of 150?
