  2. Another very nice job Mark - a friend ahs recently started a Saxon collection with a purchase of Calpe figures - which are exquisite - but I have alerted him to Black Hussar too, as your collection shows they are also beautiful figures!

    1. Thanks Peter, my understanding is that red pants is pre-1810 (Rawkins), but perhaps some had them after!

  5. Look really great Mark. I very much like the Saxons in this period, as well as the Prussians. I think as I grow older there is a really true appreciation for the turnaround of the latter military doctrine and organization over less than ten years which truly impresses me. Than and of course Von Peter's true enthusiasm for them all as well!
