Week 18 of backlog. For games set in Eastern Europe (East Prussia, Poland, Russia) I wanted some simple buildings of wooden construction to match the typical villages found there during Napoleonic times. I collected this selection from Renedra and Pegasus as a start on this.
Renedra church and barn, theoretically Amercian I think, but pretty generic. Simple modest structures that could be used in many settings.
Possibly I may replace the steeple of the church with an Eastern Orthodox dome if I can find something suitable. E.g. see this conversion of this kit.
A nice assortment of buildings there Mark. The church looks very Eastern European the way you have painted it, although an onion dome would set it off nicely if you can find a suitable one.
ReplyDeleteCheers Lawrence, yes I will keep an eye out for something suitable!
DeleteExcellent looking buildings Mark!
ReplyDeleteCheers Ray!
DeleteLovely set and should build for a nice village/town, should look great on the table top.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie!
DeleteSmart reworking of the Rendra American church, they're all timber I guess! I managed to get some of the Pegasus buildings before the supply ran dry, nice and work well with 28mm figures I think!

Cheers Iain, yes they were cheap and suitable I think!
