More French Artillery - 28mm Perry

An assortment of figures put together to make up some French artillery. Four 12 pounders and four 6 pounders. I had two each of 12 and 6 pounders with crews, plus another two 12 pounders and two 6 pounders left over from French limbers. I bought two artillery crew extras packs from Perry to make up the numbers so that all guns could have four crew each.

The 12 pounders crew come dressed in fatigues, which is not a great look for Napoleonics, somewhat worse than campaign dress! But I figured I'd still have a single battery of them! They also come with six crew each so only four figures from extra packs had to be added here to crew all four guns.

And then some more six pounders finished. Figures are a couple of gun sets, two spare guns from French limbers, and Perry extra crew sets to make up the numbers servicing the guns.

French Line Artillery in Great Coats - Perry 28mm

I picked up a couple of packs of these from Perry to increase my numbers of French Line Artillery. Nice models once again from Perry.

Here they are with the rest of my line artillery. Need to get a few more but have been waiting for Victrix to release their plastic kit to see what those are like.

French Line Artillery 28mm Perry

Six line artillery for the French. These are more metal figures from Perry. Four 6 pounders and two howitzers. Two of the 6 pounders were from Limber packs, and I'm using an extra pack of artillery crewmen, and the "infantry drafted to help" pack, to make the overall look a bit more interesting. I still have 4 figures left over from these supplementary packs.

I was originally waiting for Victrix to release their supposed plastic French arty, but got sick of waiting and decided to make a start on these instead. I might add some more pieces from Victrix should their plastic set ever eventuate...

The front and centre gun below has a wounded officer and two drafted infantry.

The closest gun below has two gunners with trail spikes, and another reaching for the ammunition box.
