Week 24 and here is the end of my backlog posting! To finish here we have a selection of Prussian Generals from Perry. These are from the two command packs Perry makes, plus a pack of metal dragoons.

For the aides in green I just used metal Prussian dragoons, which are not quite right but near enough from what was available. And given it is late Prussia probably possible in any case (e.g. detached Jager).

The figure in the foreground below is the free Colonel you get when you buy three or more boxes of Perry Allied Prussian/Russian Cavalry, and comes with option to make him either a Prussian as here, or a Russian.
Grim but good. Over 20 posts since the first of the year. Quite a run. Quite a collection..
ReplyDeleteThank you, glad to have it all posted at last! :)
DeleteSuitably dour, and beautifully done Mark. There are splashes of colour to be found in a Prussian army, as you have demonstrated here.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lawrence, yes a few bits of colour! And their flags add some more too.
DeleteA worthwhile and successful project and a most enjoyable review.
ReplyDeleteWill we see a march past of the whole force with Blucher inspecting [unless of course you can find a figure of the Queen]?
thanks, Stephen
A figure of the queen, that is an excellent idea :) Once more is painted I will no doubt post some army shots, thanks!
DeleteSome great looking command bases Mark, love the Blucher base, I'm sure he'll get a run out one day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray, and yes I imagine so, thinking very long term here!
DeleteAlways good to see your Naps in all their finery
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWhy not play the prussian attack on Plancenoit or some mix with russians from 1813-14?
ReplyDeleteYes a friends is planning Plancenoit, thanks!
DeleteLovely looking command stands, really look the part.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie!
DeleteExcellent looking Prussian command! A fitting end to your backlog run, lovely finish on the figures and Blucher is splendid if understated in Napoleonic terms!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank you Iain! Yes I guess they have their own somewhat relentless style.
