Back to some Napoleonic painting with some Italian light infantry or 'Reggimento Fanteria Leggera'. Victrix French earlier period infantry to match my Italian Line Infantry.
2nd Regiment with blue facings at front, and 1st regiment with yellow facings in rear.
These might be used for various other Light Infantry units in a pinch in certain scenarios!
Mark, these are very crisply painted. Very sharp! Love the green too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan!
DeleteWhat a lovely shade of green! Very sharp fellows.
ReplyDeleteCheers! :)
DeleteLovely light troops, well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil!
DeleteVery, very nice Italians! Great use of the versatile Victrix set.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean, yes it's a useful set!
DeleteLovely looking lights! I'm planning on using the new Perry plastic earlier French infantry for the rest of my infantry, two boxes of victrix early French was too much! I like their Austrians though!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Cheers Iain, yes I had these ones left over, they are nice figures though! :) Victrix Austrians much less assembly and more wargamer friendly!
DeleteVery nice work, and I especially like the officer figure with his greatcoat slung over his shoulder.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence yes you get some nice options in the Victrix kit!
DeleteLovely, as ever Mark.
ReplyDeleteRegards, James
Thanks James!
DeleteI do like the green Italian Light infantry uniforms with their varied facing colors, and you've done and outsanding job on these, mark... as usual!
